The 2008 Sasquatch Music Festival announced its lineup yesterday and the list of performers includes Flight the Conchords. The festival is to be held over Memorial Weekend. See ya there!

Patience is a Virtue
According to The Watcher & USA Today, the Season Two premier of Flight of the Conchords (the show) has been pushed back to early 2009. From what I can gather, they are still in the process of writing the second season. Read The Watcher article.
Between touring, movie offers, interviews and writing, they have a lot going on at the moment. I'm prepared to wait for as long as it takes for them to lay a good foundation for Season Two.
New Album Artwork
The album artwork for Flight of the Conchords' new album (to be released in April) was unveiled yesterday. I love it! The source of the artwork was StrangeGlue.

02/13/08 | NZ In-Store Performance
Several lucky New Zealanders got to see the Flight of the Conchords perform live at Video Ezy today - er - yesterday. ;-)
The turn-out was larger than expected since the event organizers only intended for the freebie performance to be for the video store's members. Instead, 100's of fans turned out to catch the live performance. Those stuck outside of the store were able to hear the show via loud-speaker.
Bret & Jemaine even made time to meet with fans and sign autographs after their short set. Autographs were done on such wacky items as shoes and pies.

Check out this article written by Polly Vernon in The Observer. She spares no details (so we think) as she recounts her interview with Bret and Jemaine.

02/08/08 | Grammys A No Go (well, kinda)
Word on the street says that the 'chords will not be attending this year's Grammy Awards night. Boo. I had my dress picked out and everything. *lol* Anyway, according to Stuff NZ, FotC will be available via video link instead.
